$2.7 million luxury home in Terrell Hills is on the market

Among “the most livable luxury homes” in Terrell Hills is on the market for $2.7 million, according to a listing on the San Antonio Board of Realtors website.

The 6,832 square-foot home at 301 Morningside Dr. was built in 1948 and sits on .68 acres. There are four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

There is also more than 1,000 square feet of outdoor entertainment space, including a pool. It’s surrounded by a masonry wall for “maximum privacy,” Cory Bakke with Phyllis Browning Co. writes on the listing.

In the entryway there is a “gallery-like” center hall. There are also three living areas, one of which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard. The other has high ceilings, mahogany cabinetry, and retractable doors that connect to the center courtyard, where the pool is.

Among the unique features of the home are its custom millwork featured throughout, five fireplaces, a formal dining room with a wall of glass overlooking the courtyard, an oversized owner’s shower with dual shower heads and walk-in closets.

There is also a separate one-bedroom casita in the backyard with retractable doors, kitchenette and full bathroom with Italian porcelain tile.
