Guess the rent of a modern farmhouse-style home in New Braunfels
We’re leaving apartments behind again this week, although we wish we could find more that are unique in some way. Alas. We are heading north out of San Antonio to find this little rural gem in New Braunfels at 936 N. Union Ave.
The person who listed the home on Craigslist says a change in their family life forced them to move out of this modernized four-bedroom farmhouse-style home that is not far from Landa Park and the Comal River.
So how much will you pay per month for this 3,000-square-foot home?
All wood flooring, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances make up the kitchen that looks out into the open concept dining and living room spaces. The pendant lighting is a nice touch.
The bedrooms come with vaulted ceilings and large windows for plenty of natural light.
The listing says that some of the furniture in the home has changed since these photos, but the home will come fully-furnished or empty if you prefer. In the back you can see one of the restrooms.
Add a vessel sink like the one above and you really can elevate the simplest of restrooms, but its the simple tile work in the tubs and showers that really bring it up.
Whoever built this custom farmhouse-style abode put a lot of work into the tiles of the tub and shower with its modern fixtures. How much does that bring up the rent?
We end on the back yard (finally a back yard) that shows the driveway curve around to the back. It looks like there is a fire pit area as well.
So how much will it cost to live in this modern farm house? The Craigslist post says it will run you $4,500 per month to live in one of the “absolute nicest parts of New Braunfels.” Zumper says a four-bedroom home in the area goes for an average of $2,200 a month.
