Guess the rent of this mid-century Northside San Antonio home

More people have been looking to move to San Antonio in 2022. (Especially from Austin!) And San Antonio rents aren’t dropping. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, searching for an apartment in San Antonio can be quite the experience. Taking inspiration from our sister publication SFGate in San Francisco, MySA is looking at local properties showcasing the best, worst, and everything in between here in the Alamo City. Let’s guess the rent.

This week we are looking at a much bigger space on the Northside in the Crownhill Park neighborhood. This three-bedroom home at 606 Marquis Lane comes in at 1,164 square feet.

You’ll notice in our walk through that the home is surrounded by hotels and businesses. The home is right off of I-410 near the airport. How much will you pay for this home given its location? And the pink toilets? Let’s jump in.

I love mid-century windows. They tend to be larger and let in a lot more light like this living room.

Windows y’all. Give me tall windows with plenty of light and I will gravitate to that area of the house. Mid-century modern windows have a particular 70s look to them. We’re only missing clerestory windows

We have tiled dining area overlooked by the kitchen.

The dining area is right next to the kitchen. You could fit a fairly-sized table and chairs in this area. It’s the kitchen that might leave a bit more to be desired.

The kitchen looks like a tight fit but it has all you need.

The kitchen is a bit narrow. There’s not much elbow room and it could get crowded fast.

That wood flooring runs throughout the home.

Following the wood flooring will take you into one of the bedrooms. The color of these walls make the light give off a rather warm vibe.

This is what you came for. The pink toilet. The pink sink. The pink tub. Don’t like the green tile? Don’t worry.

All pink everything.

Just go all pink.

It may not be covered but there is plenty of room for a patio set.

We finish on the backyard, which is pretty standard. That’s not a bad thing. But I always get asked to show the backyard. Well here it is.

So how much will you pay for this three-bedroom home? The post on Craigslist says rent is $1,850 a month., which doesn’t match the rent on Apartments.com at $1,900 a month. If you are interested, I always say to call or email whoever is listed on a site that pulls from the multiple listing service like Apartments.com.
