Guess the rent of this San Antonio 3-bedroom home off Broadway

More people have been looking to move to San Antonio in 2022.(Especially from Austin!) And San Antonio rents aren’t dropping. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, searching for an apartment in San Antonio can be quite the experience. Taking inspiration from our sister publication SFGate in San Francisco, MySA is looking at local properties showcasing the best, worst, and everything in between here in the Alamo City. Let’s guess the rent.

Last week’s little urban cabin near the Pearl Brewery was quite the find. But this week’s contemporary listing seems almost perfectly suited to a young couple or family.

This three-bedroom, 1,600-square-foot home at 151 Claremont Avenue is less than five minutes away from Broadway and Mahncke Park. Aside from all the restaurants and bars along Broadway, you also have a straight shot into downtown San Antonio. If you have kids, you’re not far from the Witte Museum and the Doseum.

And yes, it’s blue. Look, we haven’t had a blue home since October 2021. You can give me this one.

Let’s dive in.

Walking through the front door and down a small hallway leads us into this open concept layout for the first floor.

An open concept can sometimes mean a smaller kitchen space, but the large island counter makes up for that.

The walk-in shower with the subway tile is the most eye-catching part of the restroom. Other than that, it seems pretty standard.

The backyard isn’t huge, but it does have screen-enclosed patio for those days you want to sit outside but avoid the bugs.

Now on to the price. The listing on Craigslist says you will pay $2,600 a month. The price matches a listing on Zillow. Three-bedroom apartments in the area go for an average of $2,595 per month, according to Zumper.
